03S78. HCJC.
27 of us make up the lovely class of 03S78 :)
it was a year and 6 mths ago that we graduated from hwachong, nothing much has
changed since then - we still have the good old class outings when we spend most
of the time walking around (+ extended one in europe recently), we still play
mahjong, watch movies, go æçå¦! together (at nwxiang's request of course)..
to many more years of friendship!

sorry for the hiatus
hello..
i havent posted in a long time..been busy with a lot of stuff recently..
recently our medsoc pres has attempted to lead a revolution to the medical education in NUS. i think as m1s we cannot fully understand the kind of agony that our seniors are experiencing/had experienced...
but recently..i started on my "undergraduate research opportunities" (UROP) programme and i can somewhat understand how our medsoc pres feels
besides having to grapple with all the new equipment, the principles behind each step of the procedures and mastering opening doors with my elbows...i think the most difficult thing tt i need to learn is...WHERE EACH PIECE OF EQUIPMENT is kept
a simple experiment that can be done in 2 hr plus is dragged to 4 hrs plus because i had to ransack the entire storeroom to find ONE small little stick of cell scraper...or ONE small puny syringe...
and to make things worse..i seldom see my prof...my lab has 3 lab technicians/assistants...but all 3 of them are SUPER DUPER busy...so if i asked them where each thing is kept...they would jus point in the general direction/group of drawers...
i guess it sort of fits how med edu is during clinical yrs as well la...the consultants and registrars are super duper busy and usu invisible...the MOs are super duper busy also...so i guess i can begin to feel how frustrating it is to be at the corner of an operating theatre and the MO bo hiu u...even though u are like asking questions and trying to learn...yet at the same time..u cant really blame them cos they are really super duper busy....
sighhh
ps yang: jia jing wen is still more chio than that whoever whoever pps i want my night cycling
