Merry Christmas
Haha, I always thought the officers screw the sergeants (since officers were once recruits) and the sergeants screw the recruits. So we're all screwed anyway :S How comforting to have our bolts tightened :) Haha, dun feel so bad since we're all going to get it eventually anyway. I understand you'll all have a long holiday in store too from the 29th to the 2nd? :)
I just sat next to a few Chinese High sec 1s on the bus today... you know, the typical innocent ones who laugh girlishly (cos their voice hasnt broken), no leg hair and real shorts (shortened even more when you sit) Yes, and you realise how far those days have become. But what struck me more what that their BADGE is different. No longer that triangle but the chs logo. So many changes. I am now really past and history :S The chs gate was its wordings erased to, probably changed to Hwa Chong institute... so in HCJC's. Well, at least its still there.
So fast time is moving. We now have official relief teachers! I'm sure I'll find a way to sit in your classes some time :) For yijin's a bit harder lah... since I have to pass of as a sec 1 in pseudo chs shorts (now dun be mean...) Right... and I'm thinking Zhou xing chi movies now...haha...
Haha... wonder how long this blog will survive. When the guys go into army? When the guys get out of army? When the med students are doing housemanship and sneaking a break in between the paperwork? When the professors and secretly slacking in their office? When the CEOs are watching airplanes fly by and thinking of old times? When Singapore gets a new PM? well... maybe blogs will be dead by then :)

shea has suggested tt we combine movie and zoo.. i think tts a great idea! if anyone violently objects pls say ok? :) otherwise i think it'll be more packed and we waste less time standing around deciding what to do with our time (hmmm LAN wud be good for the guys but not so good for the girls -nods-) so yups, i've thot abt how we can organise our day if we wanna combine it.. here goes:
meet at say, 9am at CCK mrt station.. (zoo opens at 8:30am, kinda early?) take straight bus to zoo 927 (30mins or so, I guess?)
then we can haf a fun-filled day at the zoo admiring e cute animals taking pics n what not :)
perhaps for lunch, to save ourselves some money, we can bring our own? sandwiches or bread :) then sit down sumwhere to enjoyy :)
then continue walking ard till abt 5.. (zoo closes at 6pm) then we take a bus to Lot 1 at CCK central, then we have dinner there.. then we catch Kungfu at abt 7:30pm? :)
is that a good idea? :D then perhaps for those who wud like to stayover sumwhere, we can go sumwhere? dun think my mums gonna give in despite my being guai and asking repeatedly.. anyones house avail? :) whee! exciting! otherwise jus meet at my hse or qy's for day gathering on 28th :)

Movie Outing
Ge wei guan zhong, after numerous leng3 dan4 outings, lets have a more re4 nao4 one...
My proposal: Next monday, watch Gong Fu (the Stephen Chow one, rated 4.5/5 by Newpaper and 4/5 by Straits Times). Mebbe we can have a class dinner after that (as suggested by Wenyang).
Anyway, we will be watching either in the afternoon or in the evening, as yijin cannot make it in the morning.

haha peepz.. good news.. just received news tt i'm chosen as a relief teacher in chs!! yay.. finally ended weeks of uncertainty.. actually feel v honoured by their trust in me lor.. my boss (mdm tan liang see.. if kaypoh chs peepz wanna noe) told me tt chs is not really keen in hiring ppl as relief teachers.. so yah i'm really really honoured.. really wan to thank them for taking e risk to hire me =) of course i'll do my best haha =)
anw this means i dun think u ppl can come to my place cos i'm on a tight schedule.. actually i feel a bit guilty of playing tai ji quan =) always non-commital abt e "ipoh trip".. it's not cos i dun welcome u ppl but haha i guess i dun have much time to spend w my family.. my bro just came back last sat n he's going back to nus on e 26th (in e same bus as i am haha) so i think it's better if i could spend time w my family.. i'm so sorry abt damping ur enthusiasm of proving e adage "malaysia - truly asia" true (well i think it's true tho =) i can't say for sure but when i learn how to drive.. e guys can visit me after u ppl come out of e jungles =) oh haha maybe u ppl would be free to attend my wedding dinner.. ooops there i go daydreaming (or rather night-dreaming).. haha possibilities abound =)

for some reason nobodys online tonight.. am feeling rather bored yet feel like rambling to someone, hence this blog shall be e someone just for tonight :)
i went out today! with 2 of my friends fid and yit (-waves- to you two if you're reading this!) we walked up and down (and up and down) orchard road fr noon to.. 9pm? yes :) hehehe. long time no shop mann. it was great fun! thanks to their jie4 shao4s and urging i managed to get a few pieces of clothings im qt satisfied with :)
tts not the main point, of course. at the end of the day, im really v glad i went out with them today. reassures me that the friendship is intact, we still would share with one another stuff unreservedly and unpretentiously. -nods- hmm. i think friendship needs nurturing. after e initial period of shyness n getting to know one another, we move on to a smooth path of seeing one another everyday n a peak in e feelings of like, appreciation for one another, sharing, etc etc.. then after tt it dies down abit, n tts when u need to meet up once in a while, or chat online or on e phone regularly.. ladidums.
and this week i was reminded again of the goodness of phonecalls. w e internet ive been communicating mainly thru words on e screen. hardly alot of tone n warmth of e voice can be detected. but v surprisingly perhaps, i got 2 phonecalls fr 2 close friends! :D reminds me of e loveliness of face-to-face convos n phonecalls! whee!! :)
okays everyone whos reading this, i strongly encourage u to call up ur friends and yue1 them out! it wud be very nice i believe, and for those who are going into the army, all the more! :D and btw, any of you all out there needing company anyday during hols please call me! i'd love to meet up with u all :)

Class chalet has ended. Someone post some pictures! I guess if we havent already thought and planned ahead, many of us are presently preparing for or already in the next phase in life? Your life is very likely just about to take flight (the guys wait a little while longer I suppose). Time to find or chase those short-term goals or long term aspirations. Regimens of school life seem far away and your last long holiday will be over in a flash. No room for anymore blissful blurness in life! Take control of your future with confidence. Hmm, dunno whether everyone can get over the nostalgia. But reality is approaching fast. This blog has nostalgia written all over it and will be a nice retreat I should think =) Hopefully we can still blog (i wonder) about how everyone is getting along. I remember a scene from a movie... think its a Jet Li movie about Zhang san feng... 放下负担， 奔向未来. Hmmm, well dun be burdened by the yearning for the past. Its okay to yearn, but dun be overwhelmed and go into a depression (wow, that's far-fetched but you never know the pressures and stresses of the future) Wouldnt want to be too goal-oriented looking only to the practically of the future as well and attach very little significance to past relationships. I guess, we take what we want from the past into our future. Hopefully, some of this is part of yours. So, one last gathering for next year orientation to see 05s78? Wish u all the best for the next few months and beyond, at work or at camp!

Hey hey!
we're really bored now. Damn lame... chatting to each other on msn when we're sitting next to each other. Why nobody in Singapore online at 7.30am one????
eh (thinking eh, not eh look over here).... workshops were quite interesting and yet boring in parts. Suhan got his wish... we play pool every night heh.... and scrabble and uno... and shop for windows... and chocolates... went Alcatraz prison and freezed our butts off.... our lips are all dry, cracked and unkissable.... erm.... Americans are amazing outgoing... and met a lot of new and interesting people....
well... going back in 2 days... woohoo... cant wait to go for chalet... and go back on SIA flight! yes... we love being KFC chickens confined in a space for 15hrs... being fed and doing nothing else besides watching tv.... speaking on chickens.... that reminds me of betrand russell's chicken analogy... we can never be certain that something will happen again just because it has happened many times before... ie.. a chicken is fed everday for a long period of time but one fine day, it gets slaughtered... in the same way... although the same SIA girl walks down your aisle throughout most of your trip, the theory is proven right when a sammi cheng wakes you up for your breakfast just before you land... hey hey :D
Wahlau... going to miss prom tonight... everyone going to look pretty and shuai but we not there to ogle... oh yes... wenxiang enjoyed playing chess and piano for much of the trip :)

overseas trip, anyone?
Hello my dear classmates!
-waves to those in the US as well-
i was thinking abt overseas trip! think it will be much fun! :) there are a few categories of choices we can consider that i thot of.
1. adventure - climb mt ophir? or visit some nature park or caves (sarawak!) or sth :) mt ophir is in johor so shdnt be too ex to get there, sarawak is nice and ulu but need plane, its sth like 400-500 sing dollars! super ex :(
2. food - penang? bus fares fr johor bahru is RM40 - RM50 according to a random website. no idea what else we can do there tho. perhaps jus sit around and admire the interesting way of life?
3. ermm anywhere else to relax - phuket, langkawi, bintan, nearer places like hmm some places in malaysia? anyone has any place to recommend?
i'm dying to go out and leave singapore and everything behind for a few days! ahhhh.

wah! i wanna cry. my com's cranky again. i typed out a nice long post and my ie goes kapoot.
ANYWAY, here's the scoop. i've booked a room at marina mandarin at 250. (the market price for the room is actually 400 plus so this room is, hopefully, bigger than the normal 2-bed room... so more pple can fit in. hint hint) that'll come up to less than 20 each if 13 of us go. i know its a little painful to the pocket, considering we have a chalet the following week. the other thing is, marina mandarin is actually slightly futher from ritz than pan pac. mm is at the other side of raffles city shopping centre if i'm not mistaken. perfectly within walking distance. pan pac costs about 280 though (all prices are an estimate after factoring in the hefty service charge and gst). i haven't booked that yet, so PLEASE TAG ONCE YOU'VE READ THIS!! let me know which of the 2 you'd prefer.
in any case, just a reminder that the facilities of the hotel (swimming pool, gym, squash courts and blahs) are at our disposal. so lets make the best use of them yes?
and one more thing, either hotel comes with free continental breakfast for 2.

Hey dude, there is only one barrier you nid to overcome, dat is: Wake up and come to sch. All your rotting problems, tv addiction, food overdose, staring-into-blankspace-ness will automatically be solved. Hee hee.... Seriously...i've been pulling myself out of bed at 7am everyday and the most difficult part of my day is between 700am and 705am. The rest of the day is relaxing and fun...=PpP Dun really have problems as to wad to do next...
So stop rotting at home and come to sch!!!! Come out and play wif ur frens man!!!! Dun have much of a chance after this holidays liao!!! Anyway, this is our very last sch holiday liao, so dun waste it...
