i cant sleep for some reason...
maybe it's because of the excitement from the sudden realisation that prelims are going to be over tomorrow...(except the ASSES (S Papers) of course...:) ) too excited....my sis was watching the amazing race.....
the people in there looked so....perfect...i think? like brandon and nicole and colin and christie....
hahah...but it was the not-so-perfect black couple that won....chip and kim...:)
hmmm...
hehehe..and yang and xiz....ZHAO MIN is the MOST MOST MOST chio person in recent TV...(heheh...we all know who is the most chio)...eheh...xiz...dun roll your eyes..:) yang dun plot to tickle me...:) zhou zhi ruo really got the qian bian look...:P
i am crapping...just pretty excited....going to mug SAT II and physics S tml....
but before that..

i have a marathon at the end of the year...and i will NOT give up...

but at least i can beat myself...and all that flab....
pple who wanna lose weight...running the marathon is the best and shortest way (unless your body does not produce enough leptin...hahah....or resistin)

heyhey!
i convinced my mum to let me go stayover tomorrow! -hurrays- did this by convincing her the ratio of girls to guys was abt 1:4, not so bad (ok its the emperical AND molecular formula, but who cares) and that my classmates were such good-natured nice will-take-care-of-me peoples :) hahahaa looking forward to tomorrow!!! :)

Hahaz, really looking forward to end of prelims... chiong weixiang's house urh..... badminton, bball, com games, mahjong.... stayover... sounds really exciting!!!
Was looking through all the class photos on egroups and online photo albums. I realise we do have a really nice collection of photos... and though I didnt really think it that nice before... i think the idea of coming up with a collage and arranging it in a slideshow or something and burning it into a cd is a really nice idea... for us and teachers. (Remember the orientation cd for our class? Watching it really brings back memories....)
Hahaz... maybe that's something for later...

heya da jia..here's pear's plan for nx thurs..yah..which is jus 4 more prelims days away!!!..jia you!!!
11.00am - chem paper finish..
11.00am to 1/2+pm - bball, eat abit of snacks, tokcok, sit ard in sch, walk abt anywhere..etcetc..well..can split up n haf fun ourselves..then meet again later..
3 to 5 pm - chiong sakae all-u-can-eat at somewhere..
okok..nid some explanations here..the thing is tt..if i can rem correctly..wnx's sis is going to treat him to sakae..n she has the discount card!!..so hor..we can eat-all-we-can at a discounted price!!..haha..which is still qt ex..but if u all dun wan can order sth else lorh..at discounted price too!..harhar..ok..so tts the plan..if got any activity tt can fit into tt 11am-2pm slot its oso fine..like mebbe pool?..not billards..!..n yah..the after tt activities?..chiong someone's hse arh..haha..chiong ryan's hse again arh..then can play mahjong anot..kaoz i feel the itch again..bleh..
anyway..tmr is maf..n if u do happen to read this..do come for maf!!..its the MAF lorh..like the event which only HC celebrates..haha..nvm..no significance at all..but i think to haf a jc life which u can look back n smile at..its only thru participation in these big big events..yep..then can walk ard..look at the moon..singsong..mass dance..hurhurz..ohyah..some of us r going to mug in sch tmr..so u all can jus come sch n will be able to find us..come at 5 latest for dinnerin tog..MAF starts at 6.30pm..so if u r not eating with us..then jus come sch n check us out!..harhar..cya there:)..oh..remember to mug b4 tt..n on sundae too:)

Hmm... was surfing the net and came across some very thought-provoking poems. hahz... and yes... read that.... amusing article on how blogging is bad for health in the mail from yifan.
For those who want a happier, more light-hearted read... I recommend robert frosts poems generally like "nothing gold can stay". But this was my pick.. short and sweet:
"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could"
For a much more thought-provoking read which may border on being slightly disturbing... check out william blake's collection of works "songs of innocence" and "songs of experience". The poems in innocence are written from a viewpoint of a child while songs of experience's poems are written from that of a more mature person who has come to realise the evils of the world around him. A little disturbing. Read "a little boy lost" from songs of experience.... the beginning was very profound (written below). The ending was very uncomfortable.

For a class with an obscene number of overachievers - brilliant talents, worthy leaders and excellent team players, it would seem like a lackadaisical observation to be most impressed with your effervescent class spirit.
Yet it would be duly unjustifiable to ignore this achievement that everyone in your invariable ways have contributed to.
Take it from me: from the bottom of my heart, every one of you have contributed to the warm environment in your little enclave of a class, that I envisioned Hwa Chong to be as a Chinese High boy running over to get my chicken rice staple. Each of you is the reason why the person next to you came to Hwa Chong.
Watching Quan Yao getting such kind of support at the race of his life…seeing each of you cheering each other on at performances in the central plaza…. Yi4 qi3 xue2 hui4 zuo4 ren2 in your last intensive school days… Your collective physical and motivational efforts in helping each other’s pursuits come to life. Even making inane necessary evils such as mugging such a productive collective effort, it cannot get better.
I’m especially grateful to the likes of Captain Ho, T-Rex, Shea, Ningky, Yi Jin, Wei Xin, Yang and Su Han, not just for your help in work (or at least company), but for exposing me to glimpses of this life of class spirit I’ve always coveted. Just a little of this in my last days of school, I’m eternally grateful.
For now, I wish you the very best in the coming days, as with the path that your pursuit of choice may take you.
