27 of us make up the lovely class of 03S78 :)

it was a year and 6 mths ago that we graduated from hwachong, nothing much has
changed since then - we still have the good old class outings when we spend most
of the time walking around (+ extended one in europe recently), we still play
mahjong, watch movies, go æçå¦! together (at nwxiang's request of course)..

to many more years of friendship!

oh well..i guess everyone is qt sian working n serving..so sometimes we nid entertainments!..hurhur..but sad lah..wkdays we all v busy..so can only go for wkends entertainments lorh..ohwell..tt means watching movie hafta pay $8.50..bleagh..but bobian..ooh..tokin abt movie..hurhur..anyone wans to watch wen zi tou d?..the one with jay chou performing "drifting" with his laokokkok honda car..hurhur..lets go n watch tt on one of the saturdays!!!..ohwell..hafta wait for it to open first..hurhur..yay im going to watch jing wu jia zu sooon!..yay!..hurhur..

Anecdotes from a certain sunny island

Yay, a short breather so why not write something on the blog. Stories are a little embellished :)

OC: You see your instructors sitting in front? You're going to hate them.... and that's very good. The more you hate them, the more you will learn!

PTE: Sir, erm... ah... eh.... Judy sir
OC: Rudy?! Are you in the right place?

PS 3: Don't think I can be your friend... I can never be your friend! Get that into your !@(*& brain. My motto is having pleasure under pressure, dont say I didnt warn you.

PC 2: You're in echo company now *evil grin*. Anyway, as you know... we have 4 platoons... Echo elite, echo extreme, echo experts and echo.... extras

In a tale with cruel irony written all over it, a private met with the CSM on the way out at the jetty during the block leave after his re-24click. The CSM, drawn to his barber's outstanding work of art as well as the private's untucked CV shirt-tail, decided to have a chat with him. The recruit unfortunately, wasnt too polite to the CSM, unstandably because the CSM was in CV (civilian) attire.Now the twist in fate occurs when the private is posted back to SISPEC under the CSM. The story continues here...

(CSM enters the room and does his fair share of intimidation. Privates and sergeants quiver in their seats. CSM is, in short, a freaking monster)
CSM: You... stand up... Yes, you with the 3.1 company haircut.
(Private stands up with a perturbed look on his face)
CSM: Come down.
(Private goes down to the front of the lecture room)

CSM: Were you at the jetty last friday talking to a guy in CV?
Private: I don't remember sergeant major...
CSM: Really? Do you remember an arsehole coming up to you and chatting with you... and reminding you to tuck in your shirt?
Private: No, sergeant major?
CSM: Oh.. take a closer look at my face (Looks the private right in the eye)
CSM: Do you remember now?
Private: Yes, sergeant major.
CSM (in a qian bian tone): ooohhh... now you remember. Get this clear. I'm that arsehole..... God has eyes, you're in MY company now. This is your hell now... understand?
Private: Yes sergeant major
CSM: And if only you understood this would happen, you wouldnt have talked to me in that tone last week would you?
Private: I didnt know you sergeant major...
CSM: *evil laugh* Of course you didnt, who did you think I was?
Private: I thought you were a cook
(whole room gasps in horror....)

The private in the story has achieved infamy. He has since gone on to cement his status by offering more ground-breaking insights during the interrogations by his bemused sergeants. All seek his opinions... he is the Plato of Echo.

Information about Zoo for Decision Making

It is my fundamental belief that decision making should be an informed process. To facilitate the somewhat arduous task of decision making regarding the venture to a famous Singapore tourist attraction known as the Zoo, I being overly free and boliao hereby like to post some information that will hopefully turn out to be of utility value to the majority of blog readers here in finalizing their decision regarding their commitment level to venture into the animal paradise or rather, from the perspective of certain animal lovers, the prison of animals.

huh?

I haven't posted in ages. Army seems to have drawn much out of me. The once dazzling colours of life looks to have been dimmed, and i'm forced to venture out into the outside world to experience what there is to be offered. The golden rays of the sun lend comfort as do the rain drops that fall ever so carefreely. Ever wondered why raindrops fall directly down, from their home in the clouds, tumbling onto the ground? Did they come from a world whereby reality is harsh and they cannot afford to take a break? Did they have to obey Gravity and crash down with such a great force? Don't they feel pain?

haha, i'm quite lost, as usual. And my posts always seem to lead me nowhere. Raindrops do not feel, but imagine we are akin to them. Although we are born into this system, we are not totally bound by it. You hold the reins of your own life. Steer it and make it meaningful. We're in a transition period, for us guys, jc to adulthood via ns, for girls, this period of brief employment offers you a glimpse of working life that is soon to come. Don't be lost, help one another, help yourself!
