27 of us make up the lovely class of 03S78 :)

it was a year and 6 mths ago that we graduated from hwachong, nothing much has
changed since then - we still have the good old class outings when we spend most
of the time walking around (+ extended one in europe recently), we still play
mahjong, watch movies, go æçå¦! together (at nwxiang's request of course)..

to many more years of friendship!

Haha, sometimes, you must realise that feigning ignorance is a good way to stir response from the other party. How can someone who takes literature not pick up the slightest hint of irony? Though so, irony is not really that beautiful, subtle insults and criticism somehow appeals more to me.
Harisu...Hmm... I doubt Yifan would be ruthless enough to do that. And I myself would not be daring enough to witness that as well.
Quite agree that we should be studying rather than fielding entries in the blog and engaging in a rather limited "class" discussion on the blog. However, a few minutes won't hurt, and at least u get to distance yourself from books and stuff for this few minutes. Haha.
Yifan, you only blog... Guess what i did, i went down to the supermarket to look at fishes. Saw this flying fish, and was like studying it for five minutes. I tugged at its pectoral fins and spread them out, marvelling at the Artificer's wondrous piece of art. Wasn't I supposed to be studying my notes rather than studying a fish?

Yes, what's a Harisu, i would like to see one performed, to wow myself over.
And since when was the sun turning purple and the moon green. Yifan, you must have been reading too much novels for your own good or someone must have hit you in the eye with those 5Kg weights. The Sun seems rather normal to me, it must have been a red sun pillar or alike in the purple sky that you have seen. And as for the S.N.A.G thing, you must have misinterpreted the abbreviation.
Javelins are really strong stuff. And why they break is rather similar to why arrows break? Am I correct? I think the concept is sort of similar, the torsional vibration and stress on the shaft of the arrow and on the javelin. There's a name for that in archery, called fishtailing, if i remembered correctly. The torsional vibration in the case of arrows is rather nice to watch, as you can see the shaft actually bowing and vibrating as the arrow flies. But as for a javelin, i don't know, javelin is much thicker than an arrow shaft.
Hey, what's the shaft of your javelin made of? Metal? Carbon composite?

Weixin, you dont need to read abt aspergic pple since you associated with one... Haha, you seem to be morphin into a S.N.A.G... you need someone to understand your fears and concerns and comfort you before you lose control over your conscious self to stress is it? Focus, brother, focus.... something I need to do too... you could help Yeong Heng, who seems to be very inspired, to set up his astro club...

it had to rain today... I have a feeling its going to rain just before we step into the pool and stop raining just as we leave the complex.... its always like that....

I left the radio on when I was sleeping yesterday.... then I woke up semi-conscious twice and heard the "shou qian shou" song on both occasions... I think my brain is wired to listen to it whenever it comes on....

Hmm...Yifan, i must commend on your great accomplishment, being able to break 2 Javelins in 3 days.
So what's the punishment administered by Joseph this time round? A great lecture while you attempt to finish the 200 pushups again?
This must be your bad day, struck with this kind of luck. However, i'm sure that this little bad luck won't have any effect on your ability to get all As for your Block Test, right? and comparatively, who can have more bad luck than me?
Swimming is okay, or rather slacking in the pool is okay, provided its not crowded.

It is nature for everybody to worry over the block test and study. Who would want to screw up their JC life?
And notes naturally look alien after a period of negligence from us. My notes do not seem to relate to me and i find no point in studying and memorising some of this things. I just started reading the notes today and i think that there really isn't much use in the things we study in biology. i don't see why a broad field of topics is preferred over specialisation. Why does specialisation only start in university? (and the pt is Life Sciences in NUS isn't much better, its a GENERAL course) I would prefer going into biophysics now rather than trying to remember the all the historical developments in Genetics (though i do not doubt or dismiss any of the great accomplishment that people like Oswald Avery, Watson, Crick have contributed).
Grumble is something that i can do rather well, but what is the pt in that? Contradicting myself in continuation of this is significant of the lack of discipline and control over my conscious self, a serious concern that i should look at instead now. I've read abt savant intelligence, autism, aspergerism this few days, and i sort of understand how they feel in society, something that most of us demand as well, the need to be understood. My phrases in front might not seem to relate, nor do they share any idea. My linguistics organisational skills are seemingly lacking, and my thoughts seem rather addled by the stale air that circulates and fills my life.

sian diao.... everyone in mugger-morphing... my also lah... haha, stress stress, seeing most of the recent notes for the first time.... good thing had yijin and sam muggin @ sch wif me today... or else I really can die-die liaoz....
after that went swimming with yijin too... haha, this guy gets all the best deals, free swimming lessons for 40cents entry fee only... but boy, is he determined... learned how to tread water and train kicking for free-style in 1 and a half hours? haha... I'm not a very good teacher though... haiz... sian
